This month’s meal is on Tuesday, 30 October. We are going to Pizza Express, Unit LR05, Mezzanine Level, Westfield Centre, Westfield Stratford City, London E20 1ET. Easily reachable from Stratford Regional and International stations. As usual we will gather at 7:30 pm. All are welcome.

Our midweek monthly meal is on 25 September (Tuesday), at an Indian restaurant, Shish Mahal, 815 High Road, Bakers Arms, Leyton E10 7AA. Come and join us. Many bus routes pass through Bakers Arms, especially those serving Walthamstow, Leyton and Leytonstone. As usual, meet at the venue at 7:30 pm.

Tonight is our Midweek Monthly Meal. We are going to the Ledger Building, 4 Hertsmere Road, London E14 4AL (a Wetherspoon pub). It is near West India Quay DLR station. Join us to eat and socialise, from around 7:30 this evening. All are welcome.

Pentecost is not only the birthday of the church generally, but also the birthday of MCC East London, as it first met on Pentecost in 1991 (19 May). This year, Pentecost falls on 20 May. We would like to invite you all to celebrate the birthday of our church, and we will be holding a party after the service on that day. Feel free to bring your friends to our service, starting at 5.30 pm as usual, and party.

In a slight change to the normal schedule, we are holding April’s Midweek Monthly Meal this coming Tuesday, 17 April. It will be at the Gate Clock, 210 Creek Road, Greenwich SE10 9RB, directly above Cutty Sark DLR station. We intend to start at 7:30 pm, and we will be on whichever level we can find enough room. All are welcome.

This coming Tuesday, we are marking the start of Lent by having a pancake party, followed by a short Ash Wednesday service.

The event will take place at 44 Amyruth Road, London SE4 1HQ. It will start at 7.00 pm, promptly, and be finished by 9.00 pm.

This Tuesday, 30 January, is our Midweek Monthly Meal. This time, we will be going to Honest Burgers, at 12 Widegate Street, E1 7HP. If you’re not sure where that is, we will be meeting at 7.30 pm at the Bishopsgate exit from Liverpool Street station – it is a short walk from there. The final Midweek Monthly Meal of 2017 is this coming Tuesday, 19 December. We will be meeting at the Gate Clock pub (Wetherspoon), 210 Creek Road, Greenwich SE10 9RB. This is within the shopping area around Cutty Sark DLR station. We will be there from 7:30 pm. All are welcome.

A week earlier than normal due to next week clashing with Halloween, tonight is our Midweek Monthly Meal – a chance to socialise. We will be meeting at John the Unicorn, 159 Rye Lane, Peckham SE15 4TL, at 7:30 pm.

The venue is about a 5 minute walk from Peckham Rye station – turn right out of the station and it’s on the opposite side of the road.
